Muscat Blanc au Petit Grains, Greco, Fiano
“Do you have a sweet wine?” was a common request from many of our customers. Sweet no, but pretty, yes! The co-fermented Fiano and Greco provides crunchy acid punch to this wine, while the Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains gives floral lifts.
This unique blend gives our drinkers the impression the palate will be sweet, however, the surprise is a sophisticated dry finish and flavour-filled wine.

Ashley calls Arinto the ‘Cumulus’ variety. Cumulus clouds are the ones that form different shapes and resemble common everyday objects as they swirl through the sky. The shape of the Arinto bunches are very similar to cumulus clouds, they come in an array of shapes and sizes. Arinto most definitely has the ‘wow’ factor. It makes fresh, flavoursome and complex wine. It really is a grape variety that will start turning heads!

The red grapes used to make this wine are some of the standout Mediterranean varieties found planted in Australia. Ashley’s aim was to craft a wine that ‘shouted a statement’ to the world that blends of Mediterranean grape varieties grown in the Riverland would make great wines. The bullets have been shot…..now for the cannonball!

When we first planted Aglianico we wanted to create a wine with complexity! There is no better way to infuse complexity into a wine by using different
clones of the same grape variety. For many years there has only been one clone of Aglianico in Australia, but in recent time the importation of new clones have provided new
options.

The release of the Ricca Terra “Soldiers’ Land” is a proud moment in our company’s history. This wine is made from 90-year-old vines that were planted under the Soldier Settlement Scheme. This wine has two purposes. The first is to acknowledge & hopefully preserve the remaining old vineyards located in the Riverland (planted by returning soldiers but unfortunately many have been removed for economic reasons). The second purpose is to provide ongoing funding to the Returned & Services League (RSL). Today marks the birth of a partnership between Ricca Terra & RSL.
Your purchase of this wine will help both causes.
